Your collection stays on your device

Pocket Bar. stores your recipes, notes, source links, photographs, favourites, subcategory names and appearance preferences in the app’s storage on your device. Reading, editing and searching saved recipes take place on the device. The app has no account system or developer-operated recipe server and does not upload your collection to the publisher.

The app includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDK and does not track you across apps or websites. It does not request your location or contacts.

Website imports and links

When you ask the app to read a website, your device connects directly to that website. A collection import may read several pages. Saving selected recipes may also download photographs from image hosts referenced by those recipes. These servers receive normal connection information, including your IP address, requested URL and request headers, and may keep logs under their own policies. The publisher does not proxy or receive these import requests.

The import connection uses a temporary network session with cookies disabled. Downloaded documents are parsed locally without running their website scripts. Original-recipe, privacy and support links open external destinations through the system. Those destinations and your browser have their own privacy practices.

The optional sample recipes and their illustrations are bundled with the app. Loading them does not contact a website or image-generation service.

Photos, files and pasted text

You choose the photograph or recipe file to provide using Apple’s system pickers. The app saves a local copy of a chosen photograph for the recipe and does not require unrestricted photo-library access. A file provider may retrieve a selected file through its own service. Pasting text or a link is your action; the app does not continuously inspect your clipboard.

Keeping and deleting data

Your collection remains in the app until you delete it or remove the app’s data. You can delete individual recipes, or delete a subcategory and all its recipes in Settings. When no retained recipe uses a saved photo, the app attempts to remove its local copy. Removing a recipe from Saved only removes its favourite marker. Resetting appearance resets appearance preferences.

Deleting the app through iOS removes its active local app data. Offloading keeps documents and data. Device backups may contain app data according to your system settings, and restoring a backup may restore it. Pocket Bar. does not provide its own cloud sync. The publisher cannot access or delete your backup copies; manage them through your system or backup provider.

Contacting support

If you choose to contact support, the message and contact details you send leave your device through your email service. The recipient and mail providers receive them. Include only information needed to describe the problem, and avoid sending passwords, private links or your entire collection. The publisher cannot inspect your local collection remotely.

Use the support contact shown below for questions about this policy or information you have chosen to send. This policy will be updated when the app’s data practices change.

This website and support email

The published website uses Cloudflare Pages for hosting. When you visit, Cloudflare receives normal connection and request information, such as your IP address and requested URL, to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare may process service and security logs under its privacy policy.

These pages contain no advertising, analytics scripts or contact forms. Email sent to pocketbar.support@gmail.com is handled through Gmail. The publisher and email providers receive the message and contact details you choose to send; Google describes its handling in its privacy policy. This website does not upload or access your local recipe collection.
